Southwest Oregano

A treasure in the kitchen and the garden. Dense clusters of purple-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers bloom all summer on nice-sized, highly aromatic evergreen shrubs. Small, glossy, oregano-flavored green leaves enliven recipes with an extra kick. Flowers are also quite tasty. This herb is rated the highest in ANTIOXIDANTS. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.

Full-part sun. Height 2-3’. Spread 1-3’. Drought and deer tolerant. Needs well-drained soil. Zones 8-10.
