Fragrant bottlebrush flowers in the spring. Medium green foliage with bronze highlights and white flecks in bright shade. Native to woodlands of southeastern US, Kentucky to Alabama and Mississippi. Plants thrive under large trees in dappled shade. Height 6-12″. Slowly spreading ground cover. Full to part shade. Does not tolerate heavy wet soils with poor air circulation. Zones 5-9.
