White, starry flowers emerge from purplish round buds in summer on small cushions of needle-shaped leaves. Dense sea-green foliage remains throughout the season and brings a fine, delicate texture to the garden. Most effective in groupings as a groundcover and in rock gardens, woodland gardens, containers. Thrives in harshest of conditions—will grow in rocky crevices and soils. Drought tolerant.

Full-part sun. Good drainage. Height under 6”. Spread 15”. Zones 5-8.
