Are you looking for a native groundcover that has all the robustness of an exotic, has good blooming power, and looks great from a distance and up close? Look no further. Meehan’s mint has all these great qualities. A good substitute for ajuga with its lush foliage and love of the shade. It bursts into bloom with blue flowers in the spring. Grows best in moist soil. Tolerates dry soils, but will not spread as freely.
