A native loosestrife selection from the GroWild Inc. nursery in Tennessee with deep burgundy wine, linear foliage that gives a soft texture to the garden. Yellow, star-like flowers blooming mid-summer offer a pleasing contrast and support for the pollinators. Attracts butterflies. Native to eastern US.
Full-part sun. Height 1-2’. Spread 3′. Forms small, steadily spreading colonies in moist soils, but grows well in drier soils too. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8.
