All the same great qualities of Helenium amarum but with a shorter stature making it very useful for edging and lower growing plantings. Pollinators love the showy yellow, daisy-like flowers of this easy-to-grow, southeastern to midwestern US native. Blooms late summer to frost. Called sneezeweed for its use by Indian tribes to treat blocked sinuses. Plant en masse in meadow and butterfly gardens and borders. Tolerates drought and humidity.

Full-part sun. Height and spread 6-12″. Native annual. May gently reseed.
