Edgeworthia chrysantha

Where to begin?
Silvery buds form in the fall and dangle all winter looking like ornaments on copper-colored stems. Fragrant yellow flowers follow, blooming the first warm days of February through March sending their sweet scent across the air. 5-8” strap-like, deep green leaves in a whorled pattern fill the stems in spring looking fresh and full all summer.

Full-part shade. Height and spread 3-6’.  Zones (6b)7-9.
