Gosh, I love this combo. Large black rimmed buds look like cloisonné before unfolding into large, lacy bicolor blooms of satiny white and rich purple. The flowers are complemented by the soft, silvery foliage. A long-lasting cut flower that also attracts butterflies. Shear the plants or deadhead after late spring blooming to promote a second flush of flowers. Tolerates dry, sunny conditions.

Full sun. Height 14″. Spread 8-18″. Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies. Zones 3-9.
