Wheeler’s Native Honeysuckle
Considered by many to be the best red honeysuckle, it produces masses of red trumpet flowers spring to late summer attracting hummingbirds from miles around. Major Wheeler is a native honeysuckle that can be trained to twine up a support or cut back the long tendrils and it will mound to form a large bush.
Full sun for best bloom. Tolerates some shade. Height 3-8’. Spread 1-8’. Zones 4-8.
