Dwarf Crested Iris
This dwarf native iris grows only 4-8″ tall. Light purple flowers bloom in the spring. Plants are spreading and are useful as a groundcover along pathways, in rock gardens, and at the front of the border. Foliage is tidy with broad, upright leaves.
Plant in rich, moist, slightly acid soil in light to part shade. Deer resistant. Zones 3-9.
