Where to begin?
Silvery buds form in the fall and dangle all winter looking like ornaments on copper colored stems. Fragrant yellow flowers follow, blooming the first warm days of February through March sending their sweet scent across the air. 5-8” straplike deep green leaves in a whorled pattern fill the stems in spring looking fresh and full all summer.
Full-part shade. Height and spread 3-6’. Zones (6b)7-9.
